Intelligence Agencies

The internal structure of any bureacratic organization is largely a function of agency of activity and logistics. Below is a published chart indicating a rough description of the organization of one of the better known intelligence agencies, the CIA. Since a large degree of the activity of such agencies is clandestine, it is likely that many functional departments of the CIA woudln’t be published on such a chart. In fact – it wasn’t until the 1960s that the existence of the CIA was even admitted to officially, despite it’s establishment shortly after world war two.
